Worship with us across the Team
Details of services across the team, as well as our worship at home resources, are available each week on our website.
Our Sunday Zoom Church meets every week at 11.00am at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82311473640. Everyone is welcome.
Did you know… that each week a new service sheet is posted onto the worship at home page of the website? This service, complete with songs, reflection and prayers for the week, can be printed off and used at home, or passed on to those who can’t access church in person or online. Is there someone in your parish who you could share this with?
Spotlight on…
Prayer Resources
Prayer is central to our relationship with God and our lives as Christians. As we begin a new year and perhaps make resolutions and plans for the year ahead, have you thought about trying different ways of praying to enrich your spiritual life?
Ben Williams, an ordinand on placement with the Team last summer, has put together a couple of prayer resources for us to use to help us with this. The first is a booklet that includes a variety of ways to pray, some of which you may not have come across before. Why not challenge yourself to try a new way of praying this year?
The second resource is a series of cards, that can be used with all ages to help everyone to engage with God. You could print one or two out and try them with your family, or pass the cards on to others you know.
If you decide to try a new way of praying this year, we’d love you to share this with those in your parish – what works, what didn’t and how it helped you to draw closer to God. If you’d like to get in touch to tell us what you’ve found helpful, please do use the contact details.
Vacancy Prayers
As the Team enters this time of transition we invite you to use these prayers to pray for the Team and the vacant parishes; for David and his family as he moves on; and for the appointment process for a new Team Rector.

Team Council AGM
The Team Council AGM will take place on Thursday 15th February, 7.30pm at The Cabin, Hardwick. This meeting is open to everyone who lives in the parishes in the Team area. Please come along and hear news from across the parishes in the Team, as well as to hear about the work done centrally to help support and enable the mission and ministry of the parishes.
Photos from across the Team
December was a busy time in our parishes. We thought you might enjoy a few pictures from some of the many events that took place during the month.
If you have photos from parish events you’d like included in future mailings, please do send them through to Becca (rebeccaherrick@lordsbridge.org).
The Lordsbridge Team Monthly Newsletter
The Lordsbridge Team Monthly Newsletter aims to keep us connected to one other – spotlighting some of the wonderful things happening in the parishes, being honest about some of the challenges (like building repairs), and sharing news and events that have team-wide appeal. For village focussed events, please do check out your local church mailings.
