“See what great love the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called children of God!
And that is what we are!”

Worship with us across the Team
Details of services across the team, as well as our worship at home resources, are available each week on our website.
Our Sunday Zoom Church meets every week at 11.00am at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82311473640. Everyone is welcome.
Did you know… that each week a new service sheet is posted onto the worship at home page of the website? This service, complete with songs, reflection and prayers for the week, can be printed off and used at home, or passed on to those who can’t access church in person or online. Is there someone in your parish who you could share this with?
Prayer during the week
Alongside our weekly services, prayer takes place regularly throughout the week at different venues, including on Zoom. Everyone is welcome to attend, either in person or online. Please see our services page for more details.
Spotlight on…
Lent Resources
Lent begins on 14th February, with Team Ash Wednesday services hosted by Dry Drayton and Toft (see below for further details). During Lent the Lordsbridge podcast will be releasing a prayer a day for you to listen to and reflect on. Several churches across the team will also be hosting Lent Groups – do speak to your Team Vicar for further information about these.
In addition to this, we will be running a Lent Team Quiet Morning on Saturday 2nd March, 10.00am – 12.30pm at Dry Drayton Church. Everyone is very welcome to attend!
All Saints Church, Haslingfield’s
Restoration and Redecoration
Thanks to the generous contributions and legacies from villagers and from our congregation, All
Saints’ Church is able to start the first phase of high level restoration work in the Nave. This means that Sunday services will take place in the chancel and sadly the church will not be open to the public from January 8th until Easter. The North porch will be open for private prayer. Entrance to the chancel at other times can be prearranged with the vicar or the churchwardens if they are available.
WCCYM Fundraising Quiz
WCCYM will be hosting a Fundraising Quiz on Saturday 10th February in Cambourne Church. Gather your team of (up to) six people and see if you can defeat the quiz masters. It is £5 per person and you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks, but we will have some non-alcoholic drinks and snacks available on the evening. Doors open at 7.45pm for a prompt 8pm start. Book now by clicking here.
Travels in Ethiopia
Harlton Village Hall
Thursday 15th February
2.30pm
Dr Nicholas Branson will be giving an illustrated talk on his two visits to Ethiopia to see the rock-carved churches and wildlife, and to explore the location of the Ark of the Covenant. The talk will be followed by tea and cakes. There is no charge for admission but voluntary donations will be given to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
Team Council AGM
The Team Council AGM will take place on Thursday 15th February, 7.30pm at The Cabin, Hardwick. This meeting is open to everyone who lives in the parishes in the Team area. Please come along and hear news from across the parishes in the Team, as well as to hear about the work done centrally to help support and enable the mission and ministry of the parishes.
The Lordsbridge Team Monthly Newsletter
The Lordsbridge Team Monthly Newsletter aims to keep us connected to one other – spotlighting some of the wonderful things happening in the parishes, being honest about some of the challenges (like building repairs), and sharing news and events that have team-wide appeal. For village focussed events, please do check out your local church mailings.
