For details of services and events taking place across the Team for Holy Week and Easter, please see our page here. You are always welcome at any of the churches across the Team.

We were all deeply saddened by the unexpected death of Clare Bigg, Licensed Lay Minister at St Mary’s Church, Hardwick in March. Team Vicar, Rev’d Clare Coates writes: “Clare was a wonderful wife, mother and friend, always ready with a word of encouragement and support, and a big smile. She will be greatly missed by all her friends here in the Lordsbridge Team.”

Clare Bigg’s funeral will be held at St Mary’s, Comberton on Friday 5th April at 2.00pm, followed by refreshments at the Cabin, Hardwick. Everyone is welcome, but please try and share lifts where possible as parking is limited. The family have asked that attendees wear bright colours to celebrate Clare’s life.

On Saturday 6th April, Tyndale House is hosting The World of the Bible, a day conference diving deep into the Bible and its world with Tyndale House researchers. Sessions will tease out some threads that run through the Bible, dig into the cultural context of the Old Testament, explore the genius of Jesus’ teaching, and more.

The conference will be held at St Barnabas Church, Cambridge. Find more details and registration information on the Tyndale House website: https://tyndalehouse.com/explore/events/the-world-of-the-bible-cambridge/

All are most welcome to come and enjoy visiting the beautiful gardens at Childerley Hall, in aid of St Michael and All Angels Church, Caldecote. There will be refreshments available and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Rev’d Barnabas is running a Pentecost Poetry Project to encourage broad poetic engagement with the story of Pentecost (which will be celebrated by the church on the 19th May). The narrative can be found in Acts 2 and we are encouraging budding poets to focus on verses 1-5 and 12. Poems will be shared across the Lordsbridge Team in May.

Please contact Barnabas at barnabasleeke@lordsbidge.org to make a submission or for further details.
